colect chapters i liked and bookmarked

A list of chapters i like, i lost a lot of them on my old phone

  • need a way to track all of this and consolidate such as my (formal) books in book_list

music stuff player and file stuff

currently using musicolet that is unfortuanly proprietary on grephene/android, bc its the only proper

i used tauon for a time, but its not yet mature enough, and i like the UI of strawberry more

currently using tauon for laptop, but its not mature enough, so im going to be switching to strawberry or clementine

2026-05-09

decided to go for strawberry, as clementine is still recommending a 10 year old version on their site

2026-05-22

it wrecked my entire playlist, and i dont really like the ui

in search of a better mouse

Specifics:

  • laptop
  • linux
  • features

I have been using a silent mouse for 3 years now, it’s works fine; but I want something better.

So, I was thinking of switching to a ball-pointer mouse, drawing “tablets”, or a fully customizable(framework?) Mouse.

Write down what are needs and restrictions of current platmorm.

maybe a configurable mouse?
with trackball? and programmable buttons?

or maybe replace entirely with a drawing tablet,
would be more versatile.

state of Android open source keyboards

I will list the most popular)/with good potential.

  • florisboard
  • android Keyboard
  • FUTO keyboard
  • unexpected keyboard
  • fossil keyboard

florisboard

This one is the must customizable, but lacks intermediate features(autocomplete, swipetyping)
And if you cldknt need that, then this is absolutely the perfect browser

FUTO keyboard

Meager customizability compared to florisboard, has great swipe-typing, and autocomplete.

android official keyboard

  • largely subsedex by google keybosrd
  • Barely reseves updates

researhch reliable/long term car engine

Toyota 1HZ – Legendary 4.2L inline-6 diesel. Gear-driven + a tiny belt you could change blindfolded. No turbo, no drama. Just runs.

Nissan TD42 – Another 4.2L monster. Gear-driven timing, available NA or turbo. Simple and stupid tough.

Mercedes OM615 / OM616 / OM617 – Fully cast-iron classics. 4 to 6 cylinders. Giant double-row timing chains. Proven in every desert on Earth.

Jeep ERH (4.0) – American iron at its best. Inline-6 gas engine with crazy low-end torque. Built to idle through the end times.

Cummins ISF2.8 – Compact 4-cylinder turbo diesel with common rail injection. Cast iron everything. Built for hard work.

Opel C24NE – 2.4L gas 4-cylinder. Iron block, iron head. Ultra-basic design = huge lifespan.

Mercedes OM314 – Old-school 3.8L industrial diesel. 4-cylinder, gear-driven cam, no turbo. Tiny footprint, giant heart.

This list sticks to fully cast-iron engines only.
there are plenty of other legendary “million-mile” motors out there with aluminum heads.(but those are not really meant to last a million-mile)
