strategy is more important than then the plan
plans are great and all, but how you exercise/do them matters more then the plan itself.
I would say that plans are the outline/cover and the strategies/effectiveness the content.
example
give a random dude a perfectly laid out plan on how and when he needs to play in a band/orchestra, with music notes, exact timestamps of when he needs to play, including who he needs to be playing with. is totally useless if he knows nothing about playing the flute or reading music.
execution matters more then the plan itself, I argue that technique/execution is more important even if they have a plan., you can give a man with good enough technique a half assed plan and he can improvise, you can give a perfect plan to someone with no technique and it’s useless
